Take my lead provides a friendly and reliable service. I will take care of your pets as if they were my own and give them all the attention and affection that they need.
Services
DOG WALKING
I offer either 1 hour or 30 minute walks.
Your dog will be picked up from home, taken to a dog friendly environment and exercised on or off the lead subject to customer agreement and initial assessment. On return your dog will be towel dried and given fresh water.
Dogs will normally be walked in small groups (no more than 4) which provides valuable socialisation. Individual walks can be arranged at owners request.
Please note: All dogs using the service must be up to date with appropriate vaccinations and I will ask to see a valid certificate at the first consultation.
PET SITTING
CATS
If your cat prefers to be cared for in his/her own home while you are away, I can provide a personalised service to suit your needs.
SMALL ANIMALS
I will take care of various small pets in your home or mine if you prefer including:
Hamsters
Rabbits
Caged Birds
Fish
SECURITY
The safety of your pets and the security of your home is of the upmost importance to me. I am fully police checked and insured. If required the pet visits can include drawing curtains, taking in mail etc.
Welcome to Take My Lead a professional dog walking and pet sitting service.
Take My Lead based in Wetherby was established by Brian Cassell and provides a service within a 10 mile radius of the town.
Brian is a life long dog owner and pet lover. After working as a driving instructor for over 20 years and more recently as a school ICT manager he is happy to combine his extensive knowledge and love of animals to create a healthy working experience. He currently owns Lucy, a lively labradoodle and besides caring for various small pets over the years, including cats, guinea pigs, caged birds, fish and specialist discus fish, he is lucky to have shared many years of happy walks with Hinny, a bearded collie and Sam, a labrador/collie cross.
I realise that the security of your home is of the upmost importance. I am fully police checked and have full liability insurance. I provide a free no obligation assessment visit so that I can get to know you and your pet but perhaps more importantly, you can check my certificates and your pet can check me out!
I am eager to promote high standards of pet welfare and abide by the National Association of Registered Dog Sitters codes of practice.

*Monday to Friday 1 hour walk each day, 5 walks for only £34.00
Cat and small animal care:
visit includes: feeding, changing water, cleaning up litter tray and playing if required. Curtains can be drawn, plants watered, mail taken in etc.
Bank Holidays are charged at double the normal rate.
